Parents and Friends Association

The Parents and Friends Committee comprises a President, Vice-Presidents for the Senior and Junior Schools, Secretary, Treasurer and Parent Rep Coordinator, with a committee of parent members drawn from across both campuses.

A core function of the Parents and Friends Committee is to raise funds for various College projects across the Ignatius Early Years, Junior School and Senior School through the hosting of events and fundraising initiatives.

Some of these events include, the Family Fun Fair, College Ball (biennial), Athletics/Sports Day Bake Stall and Christmas Carols (biennial).

How can I get involved?

We warmly welcome members of the school community to participate in the activities coordinated by the Parents and Friends Committee, either as a member of the Committee or as an event volunteer.

Catholic School Parents South Australia (CSPSA) promotes and supports parents and families by providing a voice for education and issues which affect their children.

CSPSA is an advocate for the families, parents and carers of children in Catholic schools, Catholic early learning centres and pre-schools.

The organisation believes that:

• All children have the opportunity to access a quality education, allowing each child to reach his or her potential; and
• School and family collaboration is essential to successful spiritual, academic and developmental growth.

CSPSA aims to build an environment where parents can be empowered to take an active role as the primary educators of their children.
