From the Chair

The generous support of present and past donors has made the College what it is today – a vibrant and welcoming community that educates and enriches the lives of children every day. From their first tentative steps into Ignatius Early Years to their emotional departure from the College after the Valete Dinner at the end of Year 12, our students receive a series of unique encounters with the Jesuit ethos and educational excellence. These experiences will change and enhance their life journey.

The College would be a much poorer place without the dedicated support of the many parents, friends, old scholars and community members throughout its history. Similarly its ability to develop facilities and support disadvantaged students in the future will be severely limited without your ongoing support.

The Saint Ignatius' College Foundation Inc. was established in December 1988 by a committed group of parents and old scholars. Since that time the Foundation has had outstanding support from the College community. In recent years this generosity has contributed to College advanced development projects including: The Holy Family Building and Ignatius Early Years at the Junior School and at the Senior School, the Chapel, St Edmund Campion Building (Library & Year 12 Centre) and the St Peter Faber Building (Music, Drama & the Richard Flynn Theatre). In addition, the Foundation’s supporters have enabled the establishment of The Ignatian Bursary Fund.

Please consider whether you are able to assist by supporting the education of current and future Ignatian students. All gifts, whether small or large, are very welcome and are fully tax deductible. To discuss making a tax deductible contribution, or perhaps leaving a bequest to Saint Ignatius’ College, please contact our Fundraising Manager, Mrs Sue Giacobbe, on 8334 9356 or email
